GET A TERMITE ASSESSMENT TODAY
Servicing all Melbourne suburbs –
What do I get as part of the free assessment?
As part of our customer service commitment, our obligation-free assessment will provide you with a detailed treatment plan and all the information you need to know to rid your home of any termite or white ant problem.
We will tailor a treatment plan that is best for you and your circumstance and explain why we have made these recommendations so you can trust in the methods and techniques we employ.
Note: A FREE termite assessment is not the same as a comprehensive termite inspection. If the request for a termite assessment turns out not to be termite related then we will provide a Pest ID for which a service charge is applied.
Am I eligible for a free assessment?
You qualify for a free assessment if you:
- Have discovered active termites
- Have uncovered termite damage, or
- Want to consider a preventative termite treatment to protect your home
What if I’m not sure if I have termites?
If you’re not sure whether the insects you are seeing or the damage you’ve found is due to termites, please call our office. We can discuss your issue to try and understand your problem.
We offer a FREE ‘online’ Timber Pest ID Service, which allows you to send in some photos to help us determine the nature of your problem. Our customers find this a very convenient service as it saves time for everyone and means we only carry out a site visit if necessary and if we are called out
Please note – the area of concern should not be disturbed in order to provide photos, as this can disturb any insects making them more difficult to identify and treat.
A termite inspection is a detailed and systematic search for termite activity, termite damage and conditions that may make the building more conducive to termite attack. The inspection can take several hours and results in a comprehensive multi-page report.
Whether or not you have termites, it is recommended that your home (indeed any building) should be inspected for termites at least once a year.
An inspection is also required before any form of termite treatment is applied and is carried out in accordance with Codes of Practice and Australian Standards.
There is a fee for this service.
A termite assessment is essentially where we seek to establish a detailed plan on how to protect a building from either a current or potential termite infestation. We spend quality time looking at the building’s design, the areas of termite activity or damage, the termite species and environmental conditions.
Based upon these findings we will sit down with you and provide you with detailed advice explaining what is required and why, so you know that the advice we give is in your best interests. We will also provide you this information in a detailed written proposal for your reference
It is a great opportunity for both our company and the customer to meet each other and build an understanding as to what needs to be achieved.
This is a FREE service
A FREE online Timber Pest ID service is provided for customers that have found some insect activity in timber and aren’t sure of the cause.
The customers send in photos to help us identify the problem.
The activity / damage may be due to termites, borers, timber decay moth or just wood decay.
This is a FREE service if we can provide this advice over the phone where quality photos have been provided. If we have to attend the site, and the issue is not termite related then a fee will be required.
If we arrive on site and find the activity is due to termites, we will provide a FREE termite assessment.
